DJ Supermarkt – A Tropical Beach Bar in Space

We’re back this Sunday, the 25th April with Edition #13 of the Chill Out Tent, our monthly streaming event and it’s become a tradition to close out the event with an after party. This month we’re honoured to welcome DJ Supermarkt to the Chill Out Tent decks. He’s most well known for curating the popular Too Slow to Disco compilation series on his own label ‘How Do You Are Records’.

He’s promised us an exclusive ‘Tropical Beach Bar in Space‘ mix, which sounds just about perfect. Join us on Mixcloud Live at 17:45 BST on Sunday to hear this special session.

Edition #8 – Reuben Vaun Smith

Reuben Vaun Smith’s August release ‘Warm Nights’ has been gathering all kinds of (well deserved) praise since it’s release in August. It’s summery, timeless, freeform stuff and we love it here at the Chill Out Tent, so we’re honoured to be able to share a couple of new tracks from Reuben in our November event this Sunday.

Look out for a couple of awesome live tracks with a full band line up, we’ll hear ‘Eternal Return’ and ‘Disco Schiaparelli’ featuring Reuben and bandmates Connor Attack – Drums, Eddie Clayton – Synth Bass, Sakura Murakami- Guitar and Jelly Waves – Guitar. The band have rehearsed and recorded but never played live, here’s hoping we all get to see them play someday soon. A sunny Summer festival would be a perfect space to experience ‘Warm Nights’. The Chill Out Tent – Rune Lindbaek’s Southern California Classics

Only a week to go till the next The Chill Out Tent streaming event. To keep you going until then, our friend, super DJ and star of our first episode, Rune Lindbæk, has put together a magic mix of Californian yacht rock for us. It’s brilliant.

We’ll be visiting Cali next weekend as we travel Around The World in 24 hours (22:00 BST Sat 20 June – 22:00 BST Sun 21 June) to celebrate the Summer solstice with artists, DJ’s, producers and film makers from the chill out scene around the globe.
