We are honoured and excited to say that Rob da Bank invited us to do a guest mix for his new Worldwide FM radio show. The festival promoting, record label running, yoga doing legend has a new show that goes out at 7pm every Sunday evening. Playing his signature mix of ‘ambient soundscapes, leftfield rarities, global oddities and vintage cuts from Rob’s dusty library’. We put together a 45 minute mix to give Rob’s listeners a flavour of our signature Chill Out Tent sound, have a listen via the Mixcloud link below.
As part of our ‘12 days of chillout‘ event over the holiday season we were really happy to be able to screen the amazing visuals and music from our friends at Baliaric FM. Originally broadcast as part of our ‘Solstice Around the World’ event in June 2020 it really showcased the unique landscape and music of Bali, here’s the stunning audio from that session for you to enjoy…
Cinti says ‘It is such a huge honor to create visuals for a homage to Jose Padilla. He is definitely a Founding Father of our culture. Rest in Power. Jose in the Sky with Ra.”
The original tape was bought by one of our team, who nagged Jose for track id’s until the great man reluctantly handed over his precious notebook of track listings long enough for the classic titles to be scribbled down. The mix is one that we’ve not seen previously online, we hope it provides a fitting tribute to our maestro of the sunset. It’s a seminal Jose collection, the Balearic blue print of ambient, electronics, classical, new-age, film scores and rock in the mix.

T Modet’s music references always take us back to the origins. That’s why we went with a shooting team deep into nature, into a cave, a few kilometers away from Barcelona. As T Modet was playing her set, the birds were singing and the forest was shining. Then we went into the editing room and we mixed the set in the cave with T Modet’s favourite movie: “In The Land Of The Headhunters”. The movie is from 1914 and it depicts the adventure of a native american heroe. As we were in the cave listening to the music and picturing the images of the movie in our heads, it really felt like going back to some lost roots that felt more familiar than one could expect.
About the music: This eclectic selection is made from balearic beat and electronic music. It’s an invitation to transport yourself into that cave and dance with your ancestors.
Our curator in chief and super chilled DJ Chris Coco played an ambient, pre sunset set, up the hill, under a tree for the La Casella stream on The Chill Out Tent. He was sporting a fine, cosmic shirt and trouser combo too, it has to be said. Here is that very spacey mix.
This is the amazing mix that cosmic disco legend Daniele performed in the film for La Casella Festival that we showed in the Italian Job edition of The Chill Out Tent. It’s a two hour journey that starts in the past, with a selection of tracks that he used to play at Baia Degli Angeli and Cosmic, before rocketing into the future with a stack of his own productions and exclusive tracks from his creative network. In other words, it’s a real treat. Thanks as ever to La Casella Festival for letting us stream their beautiful film, look out for updates on their forthcoming events.
‘On the occasion of 2020 summer solstice, we recorded in studio (due to lockdown) a live set for a special edition of “The chill out tent” aired on June, 21st 2020, then merged with a footage from Trasimeno Lake. It includes tracks from our 1st and 2nd album, plus a special unreleased remake!’
