Our curator in chief and super chilled DJ Chris Coco played an ambient, pre sunset set, up the hill, under a tree for the La Casella stream on The Chill Out Tent. He was sporting a fine, cosmic shirt and trouser combo too, it has to be said. Here is that very spacey mix.
This is the amazing mix that cosmic disco legend Daniele performed in the film for La Casella Festival that we showed in the Italian Job edition of The Chill Out Tent. It’s a two hour journey that starts in the past, with a selection of tracks that he used to play at Baia Degli Angeli and Cosmic, before rocketing into the future with a stack of his own productions and exclusive tracks from his creative network. In other words, it’s a real treat. Thanks as ever to La Casella Festival for letting us stream their beautiful film, look out for updates on their forthcoming events.

Daniele is the legendary DJ who created the cosmic disco sound at Baia Degli Angeli and Cosmic. He played at our recent Italian edition of the Chill Out Tent in the billiard room of the fabulous La Casella festival. He’s curated this excellent playlist for us, full of his signature tracks.

This weekend, Sunday 27/9/20 we’re off to Italy for our monthly gathering of the chill out clans. See our flyer below for the amazing line up. We stumbled across this amazing set of images from the ’90’s Rimini / Riccioni club scene, great work from photographer Tony Davis. We’ll be exploring this fanatical scene in our screening of Maurizio Clemente’s ‘Italo House Story’ documentary, streaming at 19:00 BST on our our usual channels
For the next episode of #TheChillOutTent on Sunday 27/9/20 we are working with the awesome La Casella Festival who have created some exclusive DJ sets in their beautiful festival location – La Casella in Umbria Italy*
We’ll have sets from: Italian Cosmic legend Daniele Baldelli, prolific producer DJ Rocca, The Chill Out Tent’s very own Chris Coco, from the festival.
(*The festival will be back in real life – September 3-5 2021. The DJs featured in the La Casella films will all be playing then and we’ll be there too.)
We’ve also secured the rights to screen an amazing documentary on the legendary and pioneering Rimini and Riccione club scene called Italohouse Story, and we have a mix by Enroll aka Rame of Pasta Boys fame, in collaboration with Soundzrise.
