The Chill Out Tent started life as a series of live streamed events from an imagined chillout space in a virtual festival. And then evolved into an actual tent at a real festival in a field… and it invited friends to play on lazy afternoons in tranquil bars and cosy pubs… it released a compilation… a series of Apple Music mixes… radio shows on Mixcloud… playlists on Spotify…
The Chill Out Tent is the alternative space you always wanted at a festival, a new way to relax and enjoy music, visuals and healing rituals; a mini festival within a festival.
Streams and live events have featured a selection of DJs, producers and film makers including Mr Scruff, Rob Da Bank, Danielle Moore from Crazy P, Daniele Baldelli, Julia Tupinamba; a movie premiere (Born Balearic – Jon Sa Trinxa and the spirit of Ibiza); broadcasts from a forest in Bali; a sunset in South Korea; interviews with music legends Maxi Jazz, Norman Jay and Richard Norris; ambient sets from Tokyo; a documentary about Boards of Canada; vintage footage from Cafe Del Mar; and an after party in Ibiza.
Our aim is to celebrate and share beautiful film, music, art, and interviews around a theme of chilled positivity.
