We Are Love

Four the past four years The Chill Out Tent has been erected in a field in Sussex at We Are Love festival.

Music

At We Are Love we have blended the best talents from local Brighton to Brixton and Ibiza, creating a soundscape that builds from yoga and gong therapy in the morning through gentle ambience, maybe some soul and reggae, some live music, some DJs, some Balearic beats as the sun comes down, and closing the day with a party by night.

Talks and workshops

Some brainfood amidst the musical delights. Speakers have included: Bristol Fungarium founder Tom Baxter on the medicinal and psychedelic properties of mushrooms; Old Tree Brewery and Old Tree Soil founder Tom Daniel on the power of compost. (Note: we also have speakers who are not called Tom.)

Healing, food and drink

The Chill Out Tent is a mini-festival within a festival – more than a tent with music; it’s an area to feed the mind, the body and soul. Our morning yoga and gong ceremonies are hugely popular. Other therapies are also available in the surrounding area. The bar is always open and surrounding vendors offer tea, toast, cake and other gastronomic delights.
