We Are Love x The Chill Out Tent 2025: Full line-up

From July 24th to July 27th The Chill Out Tent will be pitched at We Are Love festival in leafy East Sussex. Here, we unveil the cornucopia of delights that await. Full line-up and tickets can be found here.

FRIDAY

10-12: Morning yoga, sound bath and chanting

Two hours of movement and magic with Hayley and crew, free for all, come and move your body to soothe your soul.

12-1: SLOW – an hour of ambient music 

Pikes Ibiza resident at OpenLab Radio Saturdays Stevie Poolside will ease you into the afternoon with a gentle selection of choice ambience.

1-4: Gethin Itchysoul and Graeme Ross 

Chill Out Tent crew members Gethin and Graeme get things moving with a blissful and eclectic afternoon session.

4-6: Balearic Ultras

Brighton favourites Balearic Ultras will take the afternoon towards evening with the sounds that have become synonymous with their Higher Love Recordings record label.

6-8: Sorcha and Mike

Brighton’s favourite husband and wife tag team add some disco vibes to their Balearic sensibility as evening beckons.

8-10: Ben GC 

As night falls, it’s time for 1BTN’s creature of the night Ben GC to bring the party with his legendary mix of house, disco and whatever else he feels will rock the party.

10-12: JKriv 

Brooklyn-based producer, DJ, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist JKriv has releases and remixes on Joey Negro’s Z Records, Soundway Records, his own label Razor-N-Tape, among many others, plus massive new singles and remixes for Glitterbox.

Like his productions, JKriv’s DJ sets showcase his deep and diverse taste, weaving eclectic disco, house, and offbeat selections together seamlessly, always with an ear for groove and harmony, and an eye to the dance floor. 

MIDNIGHT CINEMA: STILL OUT 

A collaboration between musician-filmmakers – and childhood friends – Will Cookson and Tom Haverly. Still Out is a reflection on friendship, landscape and the passing of time inspired by a road trip from North Yorkshire to North Devon they took together in the summer of 2024. And yes, it is inspired in part by KLF’s  Chill Out album.

SATURDAY

12-1: SLOW – an hour of ambient music 

London-based Balearic don We Are The Sunset sets the scene for Saturday’s musical delights.

1-3: Steve KIW B2B Dave Holloway

Former Balearic Assassin of Love and one half of Andres y Xavi, Steve KIW will perform back-to-back with Dave Holloway (Do!!You!!!Radio) with what could be the most expensive DJ set ever as the boys try to outdo each other with their super-rare (and super-expensive) vinyl selections.

3-4: BOOK CLUB: Irvine Welsh

Irvine Welsh talks to DJmag editor Carl Loben about his new novel Men In Love, the sequel to the legendary Trainspotting, and the accompanying soundtrack created by Welsh and The Sci-Fi Soul Orchestra.

4-5: Wrekin’ Havoc 

Birmingham’s finest party starters Wrekin’ Havoc get the afternoon proceedings underway.

5-7: Jam Jah Sound 

The evening starts here with with Friendly Fire Music’s live soundsystem division. Expect roots reggae with live MCs and percussion.

7-8: Los Twangueros 

Hastings’ most Balearic residents play live with their eclectic mix of latin rhumba, ambient jazz and African rhythms. We’re hoping they’ll play a version of their latest release – a cover of Chemical Brothers’ Star Guitar.

8-10: Chris Coco 

Chill Out Tent host Chris Coco warms things up for our Saturday night party.

10-12: For Mankind 

The return of Ibiza’s finest. For Mankind raised the roof last year and is back to ensure we’ll dance into Sunday with our hands in the air.

MIDNIGHT CINEMA: Secret screening 

See the chalk board on the day as we settle down after dancing our socks off.

SUNDAY

10-12: Morning yoga, sound bath and chanting

Wash away those hangovers with two hours of movement and magic hosted by Hayley and crew.

12-1: SLOW – an hour of ambient music

SLOW resident Neil Thornton continues to ease us into Sunday. Pull up a hay bail or close your eyes and sway your hips.

1-3: Dean ‘Sunshine’ Smith 

The king of the edit, Dean ‘Sunshine’ Smith gently raises the BPMs with a soulful and sunny Sunday selection.

3-4: General Legsta 

Leggy brings his soulful roots reggae to Bentley Farm for the fifth year in a row.

4-6: Mr Bongo Soundsystem with special guest Mr Thing 

Renowned turntablist Mr Thing joins the soundsystem of Brighton’s famous record shop and label, Mr Bongo.

6-8: Trojan Soundsystem

Trojan Soundsystem mash up the dance with live MCs hyping the party as day turns to night on our final evening together.

8-10: Tigerbalm

The wild eclectic sounds of Tigerbalm will set the scene for…

10-12: Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy hosts The Legendary Chill Out Tent Closing Night Party 

We’re thrilled to have David Mancuso’s protégé close proceedings at our traditional closing night party where the Tent magically fills for one last fling. Cosmo brings a truly unique take on the Balearic tradition and will ensure a magical evening and a smile on everyone’s faces.
